  1. I have several mpeg2 svcd format and i need to upload to my webpage to share with others, the problem is the these files are large (1min= 15 MB)so i was wondering if i can convert to divx or any other format without having to lose the quality but of course making it of smaller size as possible ?
    I appreciate any help

    Give Dr. Divx a shot and experiment with different file sizes, but use a test clip. If you are experienced with encoding to divx or xvid, use Virtualdub MPEG2.

  3. Thank you for the reply, this software helps a lot and just what i need but i was wondering if i can do a btach conversion as well

    I'll assume you are referring to Dr. Divx. The answer is yes, but you'll have set up each file seperately. Before clicking "encode" in stage three, check off "Defer job for batch encoding". This will take you to the job list. To set up another encode, click "single encode" in the lower left corner. Once all your jobs are added to the queue, select the first job and click start.
