    Hi there. I am just sending out a second call for help. My previous post (my first on this forum) received no replies. Looking around at other responses to posts it seems more likely that it was overlooked that just ignored... so I am bringing some more attention to it. Thank you in advance for your help.

    To cut a mp4 file, you should simply open it in Quicktime Player (with QT/Pro installed) and use copy/paste.

    If you want to convert mp4 to DivX, ffmpeg engine fails because it does not currently recognize the aac sound. However, DivX and XviD codecs with mencoder engine should work. I tried with one clip and both video and sound were recognized. If you get errors, email me (major4@mac.com) the process output.
