quick and simple:
ATI craps every capture of my old home movie tapes. Canīt live with that macrovision-craze!!
so, I've decided to buy another card just for capturing...
CAN I use BOTH cards on my system? I got an ATI Radeon 7500...
...or best solution would be to trade it for some agp Pinnacle set?? Will I find the same annoying macrovision-flashs when capturing? (considering my sources are NOT copy-protected)...
btw, any TBC (is that the name??) is out of question...
please, any tips here? I just want to capture old tapes fine
thanx

Another victim of ATI and Macrovision. My computer vendor sent me a Leadtek Winfast TV 2000XP expert. I can capture both my home movies and Macrovision protected material. Unfortunatley the quality doesn't seem as good as the ATI when it works. I think it retails for around $50 bucks. It's a PCI card, both the ATI and Leadtek are installed on my machine. I don't see why you should have any problem installing any other capture device as long as it's compatible with your system.
