Just curious to know approximately how many discs people are using each month.
I don't care what brand...to each their own.

Mmmm I think you might need to extend this poll a bit to include 200, 300, 400.......
-
100+/month for the last 2 years, but soon it'll be about 10/month.
-
Now that I've backed everything up, maybe 7-9/month for things I've captured off TV (dam, am I really doing 20+ hours/month???)

But I've been getting so many orders for bootleg midget clown porn from members of DVDRHELP.COM after pacmania posted those tasteful midget clown pictures. Hard not to get excited over that ........yummy 8)Originally Posted by northcat_8

Look...if you can't do Umpalumpas and Little Bo Peep's vinyl sheep in the time honored classic, Sin-lence of the Lambs Collector Edition 3, Plutonium Series with all the behind the scenes footage with them in the chocolate shower with the 3 midget clown fluffers, then just let me know...I'll do a google search and find it elsewhere.
I don't know how you expect to run an honorable business keeping paying customers on a waiting list like this. -

cut me some slack, it's my first poll.
I pretty much made it because I wondered how much business naked geek had lost pissing eveyone around here off because of his know it all attitude. -
100+ but im new, only had the burner for a few months...so the newness of burning dvd's is wearing down, it was cool the first 100 burns...not so exciting anymore

BJ_M,
Are you sure you're not part of the DVD-9 group?
What kind of business goes through the number of DVDs you burn each day?
I can't even imagine advertising agencies with that much volume... -
a freaking marketing dept. that doesnt know when to say no for one thing . (we rep. 100's and 100's and 100's of films) .. then 100's of customized disks versioned for lang. and content for each site and country and playback type -- which change out thier programs quite a lot. Then outside mastering jobs which means lots and lots of check disks to go to each producer and director. plus additional film conversion work either for dvd or on dvd for further work on the film (audio and other programming - work prints) , a lot of which at one time was all on tape (and lots still is) , but disks everyone wants now.Originally Posted by indolikaa

DTS theater disks plus CC disks --

BJ_M,
I understand the marketing department issues.
Thanks. I was always curious about that. -
BJ_M,
Are all your copies made on normal dvd burners or do you have a duplicator like an Acard or Wytron ? -
most on duplicators --Originally Posted by Hardcoreruss"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
