i was wondering i was using virtual dub and after it 4 gigs it stop and had a msg now i cannot play it in media player and i was to convert it 2 mpeg 2 but the file is unsupported is there anything i can do

You can capture in several sessions and keep you limit under 4 GBs, or upgrade your windows.

4 gig is the maximum file lenght for any kind of file under FAT16 or FAT32. If you use XP, format your HD to NTFS format, unlimited file lenght. Conversion is possible without losing your data.
