  1. Hello.. I was wondering if anyone could give me some words of wisdom when trying to Burn Vcd's with EZ. I have a few problems that seem to happen.

1 The program Always gives me the "Modified File Warning" and asks me to go Validate

2 The program Locks up alot in the middle of the process.. it sits there with 0 seconds remaining and the "writing" graphic just keeps playing... Does the Write Speed have anything to do with this? I changed mine to 8x instead of 16x thinking that the process is more likely to work

3 the VCD's that DO seem to be created simply Lock up my system.

4 Does anyone know the probability of the Vcd's to be played on a Playstation 2.

Sorry for the Possibly Dumb questions but I THINK I have tried everything. BTW I am downloading NERO as I write this

    Thank you for any help

  2. I'm not sure about all Playstation 2's , but the one I tried running a VCD on would not play, and it asked me to insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc. I'm thinking they will not run VCDs, as I think they only run DVD's. Hope it helps.

  3. Yes I get that same message about inserting a Playstation 2 disk... I have a feeling you are right about only playing DVD's. Thanks fer the info

I do want to let WHOEVER it may help know that I installed Nero and pretty much everything seems to be working fine now... I get stuff to play with PowerDVD on my system and although I get the Ocassional Error things are working much better now.

The bad news is that I am not Thrilled with the resolution... I knew darn well that my animations were going to go down to the 324xwhatever the VCD resolution is. But I guess I am just used to seeing everything played at 800x600 or 640x480... is there any hope for me to be able to make a VCD at the resolution that my DVD's are at... I dont know what they are... but I know it is better than what I have running. I know there is SVCD but that isnt a whole lot better..

    Thanks
