  1. Hi all

    I keep getting this error everytime i try to play a dvd. it says unable to play dvd movie and i tried 2 different ones to make sure.

    as soon as i goto play>dvd movie in windows media player it comes up with a message and in details it says thus...

    Windows Media Player is currently unable to play DVD video
    A troubleshooter is available to help you solve this problem.

    so i tried it with a diff media play and it froze me pc

    Have you installed a software dvd player such as powerdvd or windvd?If you havent then you dont have the codecs to play with windows media player.

    Uninstall windvd and install powerdvd.Might help.

    I used to have this problem, the above resolved it for me.
