  1. ok i ripped a dvd on my hard drive. Can watch it no probs.
    use dvd2avi.
    Use TMPGEnc to encode to svcd. Can watch it no probs.
    use vcdImager to make a bin file.
    burn with cdrwin...then when i try to watch it, it crashes my comp.
    I've spent 3 days and god knows how many cd's...where am i going wrong?
    I have read the tuts a number of times, can't see where am going wrong, please can somebody help me?

  2. might be your software problem. my friend use ATI player and cannot play burnt-svcd (can play only raw mpeg2 file). I use PowerDVD and have no probs at all.

  3. Probably is a software problem.

    First DO NOT USE ANY MORE CDR's (use CDRW's from now on)

    Try burning with VCDEasy, just in case (it's simpler anyway).

    D/L the WinDVD demo and try that. You can also open the DAT file on your VCD straight in WMP, try this.

    If all this fails uninstall all your player software, then re-install it.
