I am thinking of buying the fx-1000 sony camcorder. For business purposes I HAVE to record events in real time with their mc-10 little dvd recorder thing and it has to be in standard definition. My question is...Is using component cables and recording using HQ setting on the camera the best way to get the BEST picture? I am confused about all this 24p 30p etc recording modes.
*the gist of our business is creating "instant dvds" that play on most home dvd players...
