Can I use a PCTV pci with DirectTV satelite?

Do you know if the PCTV card will work with A satilite dish setup? I'm needing a reciever for direct TV dish, I wonder if that card would work and if there is some sorta program I can use instead of a "CARD" that I would need with a reciever to allow me to view all the chanels on my computer?

i have heard there is software that will decrypt the signal but not very well. i was looking into getting software (multidec) which would allow capturing the digital MPEG-2 stream (i am a subscriber to dishnetwork) directly to my hard drive but read too many posts on how it's just not worth the hassle trying to get it to work right. i haven't tried it, though, so i cannot speak from actual experience.
