Verbatim DVD-r

Verbatim makes a disc that the front looks like a 8mm roll of film, very cool. It states 4x and not 1-4x. has anyone used this media on a pioneer dvr-104 with firmware upadte ver 1.4? will it work or possibably cause damage?

Firmware upgrade 1.40 and above properly dealt with the overheating problem of burning 4X discs at 2X on the DVR-A04 (and DVR-104) burners. Go ahead and use them.

Supreme2k thanks for posting a pic. BestBuy had them for $9.99 for a 3 pack, and Samsclub.com had them for $35.97 for a 15 pack(I think you need a membership though)
