  1. is it possible to play mp3's burned to dvd on your stand alone dvd player?
    If so how and what are the requirements ?

    Depends on your player. Some will, some won't. Check the list.

  3. It's just a case of having a DVD player that supports DVD-MP3. A lot of new players now support this. Check the DVD Players guide on the left to see or of course just give it a try with your player.

    Plenty of new cheap DVD players support DVD-MP3 and this is one of the main reasons I'm likely to buy a new player.

    Here are the things to look for
    1. Shuffle Sort or better still playlist (can you imagine lissening to 750 MP3's always in the same order, apphabetical)
    2. Long file name support (who is CHRIST~1?--Christina or Chris Isaak)
    3. Ability to recognize all 750 tunes (some early mp3 on dvd consious models only could see 250 tunes per disc and the first 250 alpha numerically)

    the recent CYBERHOME at RADIO SHACK nationwide does this
