well video lan plays it fine. Its not choppy persay just the smallest bit. Like it looks its just not as smooth. Does bitrate cause this
-
I think the lack of smoothness can be attributed to the fact that you encoded as interlaced. That's fine by the way, but you will notice a combing effect on your PC monitor because it's a progressive display. Try a DVD player app instead, it will give you a better representation of what your DVD will look like on the TV.

alright it actually looks pretty damn good at 2400. I guess it will do. BTW should i keep it encoded as interlace or non interlace. Im gonna start encoding once these stupis bugs are worked out
-
Keep it interlaced. Just to be safe, you might want to consider creating a basic DVD with one or two of your clips on a DVD+RW(or whichever you have) so you can find out for sure how they will look on your standalone player. I'd hate for you to author the entire disc to find out you have playback issues with your DVD player. Just a thought. Glad you were pleased with the CVD results too.

Well im converting a few and gonna burn them and check them out on the tv. Ill keep you updated. BTW im doing my 2nd one right now and didnt have to open up the .omg and save as a .avi at least i dont think cause i opened up the .omg fine as the video source in tmgenc fine and it seems to be encoding
