  1. i just downloaded myflix 3.x something and all i really wanted was to find something to cut mpg files so i spent all night encodeing (cough cough) something and like 18 hours later i have my finshed product, vcd compliant movie
i ran it through myfilx and i dont know if it encoded it again or just messed it up but it took my perfect vcd and made it NON-COMPLIANT !!! does this sound right , is this a prob. that someone else had , or am i crazy . i went back through and checked everything out in tpmpgeded (whatever)
and its all the same as it allways is., anyway if someone
can awnser this question if it even makes sense i would apperciate it
    -----thanks loser

  2. Save it with a "vcd" extension instead of mpg and see if that helps.

Myflix will save it as filename.vcd.mpg but makes sure to write the file so it is vcd compliant.

It will convert anything non-compliant to vcd compliant when you do this, so make sure you do not use it on a higher bitrate mpg, etc.

  4. I've had endelss problems with MyFlix and have given up using it.

IfilmEdit works much better for me and is simple to use.

If you do use it, just remember to select Preferences/VCD Mode each time to wish to edit and join otherwise the result will not be vcd compliant.

  5. Hey guys, why use those softwares when there is a great freeware program out there called TMPGEnc, it encodes to mpeg-1 VCD compliant, AND... it cuts and joins mpeg files, kinda neat huh ! Have fun
