I installed ffmpegx and successfully used it to encode a video_ts folder to DivX. Now, when I try to load a folder the ffmpegx runs for a few seconds and says it is done. VOB files encode with no problem, as far as I can tell. The Info button gives me this report.

Anyone understand any of this? I have reinstalled everything with the same results.

Well, I believe I have finally found the problem. It seems that ALL of the .ifo files from the DVD must be left in the folder when encoding with ffmpegx. I had removed the ones not related to the .vob files that I was working with. After putting them back in, the folder loaded without incident.
