I have been looking into setting up a system to record VCDs from VHS. I am at work, and have a ATI AIW 128 PCI 16MB video card. It is not connected to anything, but to familiarize myself with the hardware, I installed Virtualdub. I can not get it to find the capture device. I have installed the MMC 6.3 and the wrapper. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Win 98SE
750 MHz Pentium III
256MB PC-100 SDRAM
20GB 7200 RPM HD
4.13.7192 Driver for the vid card
Thanks in advance.

Check whether the capture device driver is installed. Go to the Control Panel, click Multimedia / Sound & Multimedia, go to Devices and check that under the video capture devices, the proper driver is installed. In Virtualdub, you can then confirm the capture device is the correct one.

I have a same problem. I used to capture without any problem but suddenly i don't get any signal of my tv tuner on VirtualDub, just blue screen.
What could be the problem? -
The drivers I have are:
ATI Multimedia Video Driver
ATI Specialized PCD WDM VBI Codec
ATI WDM Rage Theater Video
ATI WDM TV Audio Crossbar
ATI WDM TV Tuner
Specialized MVD WDM VBI Codec
Am I missing something?
