*any* way to use Nero 5.5.9.9 with NEC 2500A

I am desperate! i switched to 6.3etc... because 5.5.9.9 wont recognize my new NEC drive, but I hate it.

I want to go back, any way to get it to work with my new drive?

n/m i have switched over to RecNow Max. Nero can burn in hell for all the trouble I went thru today

No because it wouldn't even accept the Nec 1300a. I updated to 5.5.10.28 and that was ok for me but with an even newer drive I suspect you have to move up beyond my version.
Don't blame Nero this is normal. They can't offer drivers for a product that isn't out yet at the time the software is released. Nero doesn't offer update patches like some software do, so it looks bad because you constantly have to update the version just to add new hardware.

i'm not *exactly* blaming Nero, just had a bummer of a time with a near fix using hex editor on the mmc.dll.
