No, I caught it, and replied smile.gif
Will,
I'm gonna try to l'arn ya sumpin, son. In a lot of Europe, non-English, Patience is the name for Solitaire.
BTW, if you look for it, there is a Solitaire program on the web that has 570 variations of the game included. Freeware/shareware, slightly crippled if you don't reg, but great.
Baldrick might even like some of them. I only play the one version I know how to, but, man did it rot my mind. More addictive than this site.
Cheers,
George -
I thought it was called solitaire over here folks, no?
That what I always called it anyway, must be an 'up north; passed down throiugh the family thing'.

Are you talking about "Solitaire" where you have a load of marbles on a circular (usually wooden) "board", with the aim being to get to one left in the middle position by jumping one marble over another, or...
Are you talking about the card game called "Patience" that Microsoft (bless 'em) also name "Solitaire" in which you place black cards on red (or vice versa) with the aim of getting all the cards out of your hand? There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
