I went to Office Max today and they have 50pk Ridata 48x 80min/700mb for $12.99 with a $12 mail in rebate. If im not mistaken they also have the 100pk for $29.99 with a $20 mail in rebate. Only limits to one per person/household though. I bought a pack and my g/f gto a pack. If i am reading right they can be bought online or at the store

Here is the link that list all the rebates for this week.

Yes ridata disc are made by Ritek. These are some of the best disc out there. They make some of the best DVD-Rs and by my opinion the best cd-r's ive ever purchased. Have yet to burn a coaster with DVDs or CDRs made by them.

Do a little research and you will that these are some of the most highly recommended disc out there.

The disk was made by Ritek. I tried one with Lite48X writer. The resulting
disk C1 avg. is 0.09. It looks like thay are good quality disks.

  5. Ritek CD media is actually only average. Certainly not up to the standard of their DVD media. The problem traditionally hasn't been with burn quality, but with longevity. I've had Riteks crap out in 3 months before. Scuttlebutt is that they've improved recently, but it's very hard to judge long-term reliability on supposed recent improvements.

For top-quality CD media, you want Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim DataLifePlus, or Mitsui.

I agree here. I love those brands as well and have used them many times before. For the few that dont want to pay the price that these brands carry Ritek are good. I dont use CDr for any kind of storage or archival purposes i use them for testing. SVCD,VCD. Finished products are always on my DVD's
