adding a menu to a DVD without one.

I have a dvd with a movie on it (4 VOB files) the audio is AC3 encoded
this movie plays automatically (no menu) when inserted in a DVD player.

i would like to add a menu to this movie.. (and another short video clip)
i have copied the VIDEO_TS folder to my harddrive
files are
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB

When i try using NERO (adding the VOB files as the source) it tries to recode the files (un necessary and unwanted) as it removes the audio
When I try using ROXIO's DVD builder it says if the movie has to be edited it will lose the audio (cannot decode ac3?)

I need to know what software will help me do this...

OR.....

is there some way to make a menu and rename/"trick" the vob files i have into making a DVD with a working menu?

Hi

there are two ways i know of to do this the first is
using DVD-Labs add the vob files, see the articles on how to do this as i have not done it myself
or using ImTooDVD Ripper get the mpeg out of the vob's and using TMPEGEnc Author or DVD-Labs make up a new DVD with menu and the extra film you wanted in there.
there are plenty of guides on both these programs
