I have a 4.7GB DVD-compliant mpeg file captured from my PCTV Deluxe. The movie was a scheduled recording from television. I want to cut out the credits from the earlier program and the station fluff before and after the program. However, when I go to cut it in TMPGEnc, it says "Floating decimal point is divided by 0."
If I encoded the entire thing to DivX (which is my intended destination), can't I only cut an .avi on a keyframe? I doubt a keyframe will land right before the movie starts and ends. What are my options?
I tried running it through FlasKMPEG but when the movie file is loaded, instead of normal movies where the entire film is added as a job, there was no job listed. I tried to make one, setting the beginning to the start, and ending to the finish, but the slider bar jumps back to the beginning when dragged to the end.
