getting dvd maestro to work?

hi im new with dvd maestro and i got many problems, it says that i have no decoders when i start it, and that real time preview will not work? how do i fix this and get it all to work??

Well, as the MANUAL clearly states, you need a DVD decoder (either software, ie Cinemaster 1999, or hardware, ie Sigma Designs) for the REALTIME PREVIEW feature to work.

Please read you accompanying literature (manuals, etc) before asking basic software setup/operating questions.

and even though it's been discontinued, I think Spruce still has technical support available to registered users. info should be in your documentation you recieved with the software.

I totally agree with previous comments
btw, real time preview is not necessary to author a dvd.
Sometimes it's even useless.

ok, but i dont have manual so thats maybe the problem, but i will try without real time preview. I got a problem even with editing a movie, its says that its was done with a newer version and cannot be loaded?? it say that to all the movies and so on...
