  1. Hey guys ive done a few searches for answers but cant seem to find anything on this problem. Im converting DIVX's or XVID's to VCD using VirtualDub and TMPGENC Pro. I extract the audio using vdub and encode using tmpg. Now all is fine the finished product is superb audio and video quality is excelent BUT, I get this annoying high pitched SQUEAK every now and then throug out the movie. I have formatted and reloaded windows xp and re-installed only the xvid codec and the latest divx pack (Full of Gain Crap I might add ) and tried again and I still get this annoying squeak Has someone got any idea what is happening ?

Yes, It is caused by corrupted encoded audio on the original files. Usually files which are downloaded.
