    im not a noob, but something is messed, before I could watch any DVD on my computer and now I cant (formated). I installed the MPEG2 SVCD codec and still nothing, altho Windows Media Player says there is a problem with my video card......and WinDVD5 wont play it at all (No Valid Disc/Drive found)

    Any help is appreciated.

    Have you tried anything else like powerdvd? I would try that and see if I get an error there also. Are your drivers updated?
