I tried to make a 16:9 SVCD with ffmpegX. All went well with the SVCD preset. The resulting .mpeg-file plays well and with a good quality in VLC.
But when I burn the two .img-files with Toast 6 and play the SVCD with my DVD player the right and left borders of the movie are cropped.
Source info: DivX 5, size: 560x320, 25.000 fps
ffmpegX settings: SVCD preset + altivect + bicubic + qt encoding, aspect ratio: SVCD 16:9, resultion: 480 x 576
I've tried to enable the letterbox option with no effect.
What do I wrong? Why is the movie displays correct in VLC and not on my DVD player?
HELP!
