Hi, I just burned my first dvd, but there is no sound. When I play the mpeg in WMP everything works fine. The audio is AC3 2 channel with a 224 bitrate. I used TMPEnc DVD author to author and burn the dvd. I used Games-Realms guide. The only difference is I converted the audio to ac3 with besweet. Can anybody help me?

I can.
BeSweet has issues when it comes to encoding AC3. They are well-documented on this forum, something I wasn't aware of when I ran into the problem. And I don't have a solid answer as to why. What I can tell you is it worked for me on a Pioneer DVL-919 and nothing else. And given what others have discussed, that makes absolutely no sense.
I have read some recent threads from members who use ffmpeggui. I haven't looked into it yet. -
I've reconverted the audio using ffmpeg, and multiplexed the video and the audio. Before I burn to dvd is there a way I can simulate the dvd on my computer to see how it turns out because I don't want to waste another dvd. As I said before everything works fine on regular media players, but when I put file into dvd player there is no sound. Thanks

I downloaded something called AC3Filter, I think it was from doom9.org. It's an AC3 plug-in that allows WMP to play AC3 files.
This is where I got tripped up. The BeSweet AC3 files played fine on the computer but not on other DVD players. I asked a couple of members and they pointed out issues with BeSweet's compatibility.
