It doesn't matter which format I choose for encoding... Everytime the sound is missing after encoding... What is wrong?
I am trying to convert files of the types .asf and .mov and .wmv

Hi,
Just wanted to add to this because I am experiencing the same problem.
I can convert a single VOB with sound no problem, but when i try and c onvert a Video_TS file no sound is encoded.
I have tried Xvid, MPEG4 and divx, dragging the whole folder onto the icon and opening the file, nothhing works for a full TS folder. I have tried MP3 and AC3, tried encoding full files and partial files, used the default settings and not, I have cropped and uncropped, I have downloaded every codec ever referenced in this site (I think), and I have tried a variety of players (Well Quicktime, Mplayer, and VLC), I have even bought the MPEG plugin for Quicktime but to no avail.
Anybody any ideas? I am about to give up and convert to 42, which i dont want to do, any help or comments would be much appreciated. If I can get this working I will gladly donate money to further the cause.
Thanks in advance, Yakum.

Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
