I am using VirtualDubMod to convert a .vob file recorded on a panasonic dvd recorder to an avi file.
After loading file into VirtualDubMod I can see the video but not hear the audio . Probably an operator error? Any ideas of what I am doing wrong ? thanks.
using a x1000 compaq laptop with dvd drive/recorder....

What format is the Audio in, I would guess it is 2chan Ac3. In that case you will have to extract the audio using vdubs direct stream copy, encode video only to an avi and then join the two together afterwards.Originally Posted by l4e
