I am trying to join 2 avi files of the same source. However, when I try to append them,it keeps saying that the audio smapling rate is different. But how can they be different if the videos are from the same source? And when I check, both videos have the same sampling rate but vdubmod keeps giving error messages.
I can't live without my computer.

You're better off joining with Avidemux or save the audio and join with an audio editor and save the Video with no audio, join the video files and add the audio.

I suspect your two videos aren't exactly the same. VD needs the same audio sampling rate to at least three decimal points. As mentioned, AVIDemux may a bit more forgiving. Or make sure two files are the same rates.

  4. Another option is to extract the two audo files to .wav. Join them back again in vdubmod, or any other audio program...Goldwave is good.

    That was my second option.
