Hey,
I'm new to this so bear with me. I have a bunch of .avi files I'd like to burn to DVD. When I select them as source input in TMPGenc it says it is an unrecognizable format. The files mostly are .avi with mpeg layer 3 audio. Is the audio format causing this? If so how can i extract it and change format?

TMPGEnc DVD Author only accepts DVD compliant video......ie MPEG1, MPEG2 and Vob files.
Or were you trying TMPGEnc? I should read before responding.... -
Have you looked in HowTo or done a search ?.... I thought not.
About half the posts on this forum involve converting illegal
downloaded Divx or Xvids like you are doing .
Baldrick has just made a guide about how to do that
