    I want to get video from 24 fps to 18fps so i cant decimate. However if i type the fps i want in the framerate section of virtualdub then it goes way out of sync. any way i can do this please? any help would be appreciated.

    basically i want to get framerate of a divx rip from 24fps to 18fps without the audio going out of sync.

    Bump, pls can anyone gimmi a hand or have i still not explained well enough? I just want to be able to set the framerate i want by using virtualdub. But whenever i do it the audio always goes out of sync. please can anyone help?

    I can't imagine why anyone would want 18 fps.
    What do you mean by "can't decimate" If you delete every 4th frame
    you will have 18 fps and no sync problems
    anyway , what you do is demux the audio , resample with BeSweet,
    and remux it back in.

    i am encoding a video for my gp32. which cant accept high framerates. how do i delete every 4th frame?
