Hi. I just downloaded some DivX movie, but there's running timer in picture all the time. But I saw in some other movies, that it can be improved by blurring that part, so the blurred portion fits well into sourrounding area. Luckily the timer doesn't touch the top black frame, so I think the process is achievable. Would you recommend me some good VDub filter to do this, or direct me to some tutorial ? Thanks.

You need logoaway or delogo or something similar - all VirtualDub filters.
Have a look at the VirtualDub tools section.
If your counter is within the 'black borders' of letterboxing etc.. you should be able to remove it totally, by simply covering it up with a black (or dark grey) box.
