As I haven't had any joy with DirectCD Basic 5 whilst using OS-XP I have turned to the above. I started to format but it wouldn't do so successfully. I am using a Memorex 700MB CD, a Freecom Classic Series Recorder, MITSUMI, from the instructions it needs MRW to format that the disc. Where do I get this from if I am using this type of recorder?

MRW? As in CD-MRW?
That would be the Mount Rainier rewritable format, which isn't supposed to be available until Windows2004 (Longhorn) next year.
I'm curious. How old is your CD-RW drive and what is it's claimed RW speed? -
I don't know how old it is and the speed it is a MITSUMI 48X5TE if that is any help and the speed is about 4ish. So does that mean with XP I will have to wait until next year before I can cut and paste direct to cd with this program or any other for that matter? It worked when I had 98 and WinMe. Technology huh

No, you shouldn't have any problem using InCD with that setup. I must have something like 200 discs formatted with InCD, and most of them are your el-cheapo CompUSA 4X 650MB CD-RW discs. The speed of the writer shouldn't be an issue, either.
That particular CD-RW drive has been supported since Nero 5.0.x.x so it's been around awhile. I'd suspect a bad disc because I can't think of anything else that could be wrong.
