  1. I AM HAVING DIFFICULTY MAKING BACKUP COPIES OF MY DVD-R COPIES. I AM USING NERO 5.5.10 TO ATTEMPT THIS, BUT KEEP GETTING ERRORS THAT SAY THE MEDIA IS TO SMALL TO FIT THE DATA ON. BUT THE BLANK MEDIA (RITEK G04) IS THE SAME SIZE....I AM USING AN "OPTORITE DDO203 DVD BURNER". I HAVE BEEN 100% SUCCESFULL IN BURNING BACKUP DVD`S BUT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO MAKE "COPIES OF COPIES"......I HAVE 512MB MEMORY, AMD 1.3GHZ CPU AND RUNNING WIN XP PRO.......I ALSO USE DVD SHRINK AND DVD DECRYPTER.....THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLY........

DVDDecryptor is ISO mode, make a copy. Then DVDDecryptor in Write mode. Goes real fast (well, 1/2 hour at 4x to rip then write).

have you checked your DVDR's for errors? You'd be appalled how many errors some disks have (and hence, why they bomb making copies).

    OR....

Merely drag the files onto your hard drive. THEN....either burn them into the VIDEO_TS folder that Nero provides in DVD-Video mode, or put them into a VIDEO_TS folder that u create and burn it in UDF/ISO data mode. All you should be trying to burn are ifo, bup, and vob files.

You can also do a disc to disc copy in Nero. That's the method I use to copy a copy, but many folks prefer the *drag to the HD* method. Just make sure you are NOT burning in multisession mode.

I would strongly suggest updating to Nero v 6. Much less buggy than v 5.

N3SHXX, In case you didn't notice you left your CAPS on. Or if did but don't know, this is considered SHOUTING and is poor form ... unless you wanted to shout.
