  1. I am new to DVD processing and I just purchased a Panasonic DMR-E100H DVD recorder. I have digital cable and I want to record the music from the music channels provided. Then I want to create a CD of the audio.

What is the best way of doing this? What PC software will I need? Will I have to waste a DVD-R every time I want to do it or can I use the DVD-RAM?

I do have splitter software that I can use to separate the tracks.

DVD-Audio does not support playback through digital, you must use analog connection.

Currently, there are no decrypting software for DVD-Audio.

  3. Hi,

In order to grab the audio from a DVD I used BeSweet quite succesfully. Here is a link:
    http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/besweet.html

Make sure you download a GUI for this as well (as indicated on the page that the link points to). (I myself use BeSure as a GUI - works for me.) This program will grab the audio from either a vob file or an ac3 file.

    Hope this helps,

    Frank

  4. The good news is all the PC software you need is free, the bad news is it will take some time encoding(Camstudio,DVDx) or you will lose some quality(record analog).
Use a DVD-RAM(if your DVD-ROM supports it) or DVDRW to record then use Camstudio(captures to AVI) or DVDx(will demux to WAV).After you have one long WAV use www.cdwave.com to split into tracks.

Make a DVD-R of it on the PANASONIC

Rip tracks to pc using DECRYPTOR or just rignt click the VIDEO_TS and copy to harrd drive

DEMUX the VOB's using TMPGenc..or as you rip using the DECRYPTOR setting to demux while ripping

you are left with one long WAVE file which you import to GOLDWAVE SOUND FORGE or another audio editor (AUDACITY)

Waheed is right but this is not DVD-AUDIO
