Hello there!
I've spent hours and hours trying to first, figure out how tom play 5.1 .ogg(or even .mka) files on my WDTV media player.
Once I figured that the WDTV will only support surround files when they are part of a movie, I then spent hours upon hours trying to find software that will convert and burn 5.1 .OGG (Vorbis OGM) to DVD-Audio, so I can retain the quality and the multichannel- 5.1, in the case of the 3 dozen songs I wish to burn.
I've had no luck. I've downloaded countless programs that suggest they might be able to do it, but alas, no luck. Most require a video file to go with the music, the rest simply won't accept either .ogg or .mka as compatible formats.
I'm sure there are programs out there that will convert .ogg to a format that is both surround compatible, and DVD audio compatible - and then of course burn onto a DVD.
Can anyone help me?
Pretty please?
Thanking you in advance,
Simon J
