I've trying to author some MPG clips from my digital camera. I used TMPGEnc to encode them to DVD NTSC. However the audio is .mpa and I need it to be .ac3 (the main audio on the DVD will be in .ac3).
When I used BeSweet to convert from .mpa to .ac3 I get static during some of the audio. It happens when someone is speaking loudly. Most of the time there isn't static. But the original .mpa doesn't have any static at all.
Any ideas on what is causing this? Are there some other settings in BeSweet I should look into (other than those mentioned in the guides here)? Can anyone recommend another program to convert from .mpa to .ac3?
Thanks!
