  1. I just moved to Saipan, a little island near Guam to become a teacher. Unfortunatly, it's near impossible to get good DVD-R here. There is one store on island who carries them.. in a small cellophane wrapper labeled "Generic DVD-R". I'm not to comfortable about that, but it may be my only option.

Saipan is a protectorate of the US (since WW2) so we are on the US Postal Service, It's not even an international shipping fee (though it is more expensive than Hawaii). Because we are just getting street signs and addresses are probably 20 years later all mail is delivered via P.O. Boxes. So USPS Priority is really the only option.

Anybody know of a supplier of Ricoh or Ritek DVD-R that will ship them to a P.O. Box in the Middle of the Pacific via USPS Priority without telling me, that they have to ship it internationally and they only do that via UPS and UPS doesn't ship to P.O. Boxes?

Amazon.com ships books and movies here, but won't ship electronics to P.O. Boxes. Seems like some of the big computer places (CDW, PCMall) will ship here for a nice fat fee, but then they are charging international shipping rates for Brand Name (over-priced) DVD-R

For whatever reason Yahoo! Shopping included the Marianas Islands (Which Saipan is a part of) in thier standard shipping form. So I have seen a few Y! based shops that claim to ship here, but they are selling Discs just as generic as the local ones.

    Any help is appreciated.

Got an e-mail back from them. They said they can only ship to the contiguous US. Which is contratry to the shipping to APO, FPO that they state on thier websites.
