    Hi,

I've tried the VCD header trick some time ago with good results. However I tried to convert two movies which resulted in out of sync audio.

    What I do:
    - I use daemon tools to copy the MPG file from a .bin/.cue file
    - I use TMPGENC to multiplex the MPG file
    - I burn the image with Nero 5.5/6.0

When I check the file after multiplexing on my computer the sound seems ok. After I burn the vcd and play it back in my DVD player (Sony NS400) the audio is out of sync. I performed this process three times. The first time all went fine, but the last two failed.

Any suggestions on where to look?

    Grtz,

    Don

I just played the vcd on my laptop and audio is fine. So I think the problem must be with my DVD player. However I played vcd's like this in the past and I played 'johnny english' recently without any problems.

Could it be the type of mpeg file, like SKCVD's that might not play well on my DVD player?

What tool can I use best to check what mpeg files are used in the different vcd's?
