  1. I have an MP3 encoded audio on a CD-RW which is 95 MB. I want to burn the music on another CDR as audio CD. I am trying to use windowns media player and its says that data is huge and won't fit.

I am OK with truncating last 30 MB to put whatever can on the audio CD.

Can someone please tell me the easy way to do so.

    Thanks
    Ray

    Sorry Ray,

not following what you want to do.

when you play your MP3 file, how long is it ?

you can fit 80 mins on a CD

what software are you using to burn? Nero lets you cut the song so it will fit on a CD, other burning software should do this as well

  3. Thanks for your reply
Actually the total size of MP3 audio on my PC is over 95MB. I want to somehow fit the MP3 audio on CD. I am real player one to burn it to CD and I am getting message that "it won't fit".

So you recommend I use Nero?

    Thx

Is there some way to put firt 70 mins on one CD and remaining on another.

    Thx

when you play your mp3 file , how long is it in minutes ?

the size of the mp3 dosnt really matter

when you burn the mp3 to a audio cd it converts it to a WAV/CDA type file which maybe too big for a CD.

is it a full album or long mix

OK, just saw your other post

So its 1 hour and 44 mins

you can put first 70 mins on one cd and the rest on another

Nero will let you do it

add your mp3 into your CD and nero will say its too big then just change the end time of the song

do again for next cd and just change the start time

  7. Or you could put 98 mins on a 99min cdr and the rest on another cd. they work well in most situations.
