    I'd like to buy a DVD burner. I've heard bigger buffer is better, but sony is the only one with an 8MB buffer, all others have 2MB. Also, there are so many formats-- I can't inturpet all the speed differences -- so what do you think is the best, external, firewire or USB 2.0 DVD burner to get for someone with a laptop, 512mb ram, 1ghz pentium III?
