hi.
just started useing cinema craft encoder and ive noticed after encodeing the avi it leaves a little icon at the bottom of the screen?
doe's anyone know how to get it off?
and could anyone recommend a good tool for mergeing avi files of different stucture's?

If you want logo free encoding then you will have to buy the program. The logo is only applied in the trial version of the software. You can purchase CCE at www.cinemacraft.com and they have several packages available including one for as little as $60.
As far as I know you cannot merge avi files encoded with different settings, ie: resolution and framerate. You will have to re-encode some of the avi files so that they all match up, then you can append them together using something like VirtualDub. -
I still use 2.5 because I have yet to find a reason to upgrade. Later versions have various additions such as the ability to change the GOP Matrices, auto 3:2 pulldown, and additional filters, but with my methods I have no use for any of those. I see no visible quality difference between 2.5 and any of the later versions, and I get faster encoding with 2.5.
