  1. Hi
I have a VHS tape for a party and because of a problem there is no sound on the tape, but thanks god I found a tape cassette recorded all the party by one of the kids .. but because of the data rate between the VCR and the tape cassette I got sound sync. Problem So can some one help me to fix this problem so I can capture both audio and video in same data rate ?

Best I can suggest is capture the video on its own, then record the taped audio to a .wav using whatever software, there is plenty of freeware software out there if you haven't got anything

Try GoldWave, its not freeware, but will let you do what you want with the trial version

Then get the audio exactly the same length as the video, by getting both of them to start at exactly the same time :

EG : No blanks time at the start

Next, do a trial encode to see if they both start together, using TMPGenc, and see what it comes out like after a couple of minutes to see if the stay in sync

Maybe somebody else can explain more in depth who has covered or had this type of problem in the past
