Try unplugging the console and maybe that'll work. See, this is exactly why I kept that code 0000. How could anyone forget that?

That's the stupidest combination I've ever heard in my life. That's the kinda thing an idiot would have on his luggage.

  4. if unplugging the ps2 from wall doesnt work (which it wont) and using the default code doesnt work you're going to need to remove the internal battery.. just remove the 8 or 10 screws from the bottom of the lid, remove the lid.. but when you are removing the lid, do it slowly because there is a cable running from the ps2 to the reset eject switch.. if you screw up the cable, you wont be able to initialize your ps2..

anyhoo.. once you get the lid off, the battery is located on right side of the dvd-rom drive, use a small flat blade screwdriver and take it out. it will lose the password and give you an option to reset it.. it will also lose the time, but you can set that yourself.

While you have it open, would be a good time to put in a mod chip.

  6. not if you dont know what you're doing.. removing the lid & battery is a pretty simple procedure.. soldering a modchip on to the motherboard is completely different.

Think ill have a hell of a time trying to find someone who installs modchips though.

  9. Just so you don't think I am making fun of you Devanshu, that is a quote from the movie Spaceballs. The combination to the airshield was 12345. Then after Darth Helmet said that, the president walks in and says "That's the same combination I have for my luggage."
