Title says it all. I get a message that the cd is not big enough. I remember having problems with this a while ago but I can't remember how I solved it.
Btw it's an .avi file and overburn is enabled in Nero.
Thx for any help.

I read on another forum that the two latest updates for versions 5 and 6 introduced a bug disabling overburning. People were switching back to the previous version and the problem was gone. I encountered this also but I just burned the file with Burnatonce( I wasn't aware of the bug then). So I guess we all have wait for yet another update for Nero.

I Use Nero 5.5 to burn Xvcd's a lot and usually can fit about 797 mb of video on a regular CD. -
Exactly. A CD-R/RW usually has "a few" more sectors available than it pretends to do (reports as its capacity). If you enable overburn, you simply tell the software to ignore what the media reports - "just write the d*mned data, wont you?!?"For the uninformed, can you please explain about "Overburning", does it help fit more data on a regular CD? The responsibility for making sure that the CD-R(W) and/or writer can take/write that amount of data is yours, and the knowledge can only be acquired with trial and error.
The capacity for overburning is usually just a few megabytes, but on occation, this makes the whole difference!
