how to install dvd burner

Hi guys,

if i want to change my buner, is it simply a matter of opening case pulling out old one & installing new one?? sounds simple but is it really that simple

also my burning software (copy to dvd) doesnt seem able to select burn rate.

if I get say poineer A06 which burns dvd -r at 4x , but I use on 2 x discs which i have left, do they freak out or simply burn at max disc rate (ie 2x) regardless of software rate set to max??

All you have to do is make sure you have it set to either slave or master.
