vcdCutter...probs with Registry

hi, need someones help,
I had installed vcdCutterv4.03 and registration was no problem - the ´registration successful´-window appeared. So I´ve tried to cut a bigger file but a popup appears to tell me that this is a demo version (although it was already registered) and can´t create bigger files than 7sec_flics. Reinstalled the prog, but the registry-option was no more clickable. Can someone tell me which files have to be deleted on my system to solve this problem? Many thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. I had a hard disk crash and lost all my information. I redownloaded vcdCutter and applied my user name and registration number. VcdCutter says that it is registered to me but says that it is only the demo version and I have no idea where to find the full version. Can anyone help. (I have sent an e-mail to VcdCutter but I have yet to hear back from them).

The problem isn't your registry but the program itself. somehow, the creator of 4.03 screw up their program so that even if you have the right registration number, it would not let you cut videos. 4.01 on the other will allow you to cut it.

Try using TMPG, it's better at cutting videos anyway.

get 4.01 the registration code you have for 4.03 should work with it. It cuts quite well.
I have discussed this topic before, some people say that tmpeg is better - I don't think so - certainly doesn't seem as easy - my vcdcutter cuts always are ok.
