    can you use DVD2SVCD to convert .avi to mpeg2(dvd)

    Hey hotbody, you can use my guide, it was originally meant for DVD to CVD, SVCD, and DVD. but you can also use it for AVI. everything is the same just what DJ RUMPY said, misc settings, and select AVI as your source.
