  1. I am runing into the autopadding issue with VCD Easy and have read the forum's to find the answer - demux/remux (or cut and save) using the Mpeg-1 VCD setting. Works perfectly.

My question is: When I remux or cut an MPG file with TMPGEnc, am I losing some quality each time I do? Can I demux/remux/cut/edit, etc. as much as I want, or will I pay the price in picture degradation?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tim

No, you will not lose any video quality if you multiplex, demultiplex, remultiplex or does any basic video editing(cut and join only, if you are doing any other editing such as resizing, adding filters and such you must reconvert).
