Simple question: is there any tool (shareware or not) that will allow to edit each of all AC3 channels and save each of them as a mono wav file?
Sorry if it is a dumb question. I'm new with all of this AC3 thing. Thanks so much)))) I'll be waiting on line for any help to come

you can edit ac3 files in terms of cut with vitec or wobble but to edit the audio contained inthem you must covert to wav files first (using besweet for example) , edit , then re-encode

because ac3 is a highly compressed lossy format -- re-encoding will not as good as the original .

    thanks for your answer))))))
Actually I won't re-encode it. I just want to have each channel on a separate mon wav file. Is that possible with some program? I've heard that one of the channels be contain the music track of the file, so I just want to identify which one is it. Any help on this will be much appreciated
